The Italian DOC Seal
signifies quality & region.
Italians over the centuries pioneered laws to control the origins and protect the names of wines. This heritage is well and truly alive in the DOC / DOCG classification system. From Nebbiolo and Dolcetta to Barbera and Moscato, most traditional high quality Italian wines are produced in limited DOC or DOCG areas
Located in the the rolling hills of north central Italy, the province of Lombardy is Italy's most populous region. Centered around Milan and dotted by lake, lombardy includes two major wine producing regions : Franciacorta and Oltrepo Pavese. Oltrepo Pavese forms part of the greater Lombardy region and is home to winemakers for over 3,000 years
