Handpicked Moscato d'Asti Region: Piedmont, Italy DOCG* The Piedmont region in northern Italy is famous for its bold reds of Nebbiolo (Barolo & Barbaresco), Dolcetto and Barbera along with its unique Asti sparkling wines. Moscato d’Asti is a elegant and subtle wine which, unlike the Asti sparkling wines, is slightly 'frizzante' - a term for a light sparkling quality. It is considered a sweet wine, yet does not drink like one, due to the great balance and crisp acids. TASTING NOTES FOOD MATCHING pH. 3.25% |

Moscato Oltrepo Pavese Piccolo Region: Lombardy, Italy DOCG* This delicate, slightly frizzante wine hails from the Lombardy region of Northern Italy. Pale yellow in appearance with lovely golden hues - a delightfully fragrant and aromatic wine with floral notes of orange blossom mixed with tropical fruits and a touch of wild honey. A delicious creamy mousse with sweet melon fruits, soft but lively and lingering persistence is well balanced with a touch of acidity. Often referred to by the Italians as their favourite brunch wine, it should always be served refreshingly chilled. Region : Lombardy
*DOCG - Italian Appellation System DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita) is an Italian quality assurance seal. DOCG wines are produced in specific well-defined regions, according to specific rules designed to preserve the traditional wine-making practices of the individual regions. Allowable yields are generally lower, and DOCG wines must pass an evaluation of a tasting committee before they can be bottled.
